Greetings Winton Wildcats:
It is with great excitement that I write this letter to you as the new Assistant Principal of Winton Middle School. After meeting just a few students and staff members I can already tell that Winton is a special place, and I can’t wait to become a part of this community. I feel very fortunate to be a member of the Winton staff and believe that this
will be a great opportunity to work with wonderful students, a dedicated staff, and a supportive community.
I come to you with over 25 years of experience in education, primarily in the Vallejo City Unified School District, but my early experience in education was here in Hayward Unified School District at Bret Harte Middle School as a Detention Room Supervisor. It was at Bret Harte, while studying Sociology at Cal State Hayward, that I decided I would
dedicate myself to a career in education. It was one of the best decisions I ever made!
I believe that every single student that enters Winton’s doors is destined for greatness and my priority is working collaboratively with students, families, and staff to ensure their success.
I am truly honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to working, learning, and growing with you. I look forward to meeting all of you and continuing the excellent work that is the Winton Way!
